I have owned 3 other Z series caps and really have been very happy. So naturally I ordered another, but this time for my 2024 F250 only the Z2 was available so I ordered it. After it was installed I noticed all kinds of issues, the fitment is awful, it overhangs in the rear, the font is not lined up, their is a chip that was covered with the ARE sticker, the tailgate contour strip sticks out about an inch and is just curved and doesn’t even conform to the tailgate. It’s like they are using the same piece for all trucks. There are huge gaps all over the tailgate. There are a lot of spots where there is fiberglass showing that is not even painted. Inside latch knob missing. This was ordered on 4/29 and installed on 06/08. I went back to the dealer on 06/10 and they took pictures and said it will probably have to be shipped back to ARE to be fixed. I hope it gets made right, but at this point I wish I could just get a refund and will never buy another ARE product again.

Love the look of this cap but it leaks since install which was a year ago..and A.R.E. Has not fixed it.They have tried with no luck.At this point we feel the cap is defective . A.R.E has the worst customer service dept. We have sent multiple emails saying someone would contact us within 2 days. It’s been many weeks with nothing from the manufacturer. The workmanship on the entire cap is very poor. This is not our 1st rodeo with a cap.. it is our 4th and would never buy from this manufacturer again. We have not been able to use our bed as it leaks ALOT. WE JUST WANT OUR MONEY BACK SO WE CAN GET SOMETHING ELSE. Would not recommend this product. N4200136. The owner of the retailer said they only have 1 person taking care of customer issues. No Bueno
