The tool boxes are rated 120 lbs I believe The only thing I would prefer is maybe an option to support the tool boxes from the under side to the bed. Even though they are rated 120 lbs they have too much deflection in them when compact 30 lb loads are layed in. I was wanting to load a few cases of shotgun shells in the them. I did ask my dealer McGuire (who is excellant) to reach out to ARE for additional supports. The cap is 1st class. I just was hoping for "beafier" tool boxes. The 3 small issues I personally have are 1)The seal on corners where it meets tailgate leave enough of a gap to put a pencil through or when going through the carwash it's sprays inside the bed area.2) there were footprints inside on ceiling carpet.white fibreglass from factory.3) the light switch did not work properly but my dealer got right on it to get a replacement. Z Series Z Series : Dodge Ram May 18, 2017    Posted by: Rob My last truck was a 2007 Dodge with an A.R.E. topper. I bought a new truck and wanted a topper like my last one. I purchased the Z Series because it was the one that hooks up with my auto locks.
